LG unveiled Bello II; features 5-inch screen, 5 megapixel front camera with flash

LG has introduced a new budget smartphone dubbed Bello II today in India. As the name suggests, the new phone is the second iteration of the L Bello which was released in August last year. The LG Bello II will arrive in key markets in Latin America and India this month and will be followed by deployments in Europe and the CIS during the third quarter.

The phone will be marketed as the LG Max in India, Mexico, Russia and other Commonwealth countries, and as the First II LG in Brazil and Chile. The pricing information will be announced closer to launch. The device will be available in white, Titan, and gold options color and comes in single or dual-SIM variant.

In terms of specifications, the smartphone has a 5.0 inch FWVGA screen with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. It is powered by aa quad-core processor at 1.3 GHz with 1 GB of RAM. It packs in an internal memory of 8 GB and it is expandable via microSD cards.




It comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, along with a 5 megapixel front camera also has LED flash. Includes features such as gesture and selfie Shot Flash, extended his series G. The phone LG UX is running Android 4.0 atop Lollipop 5.1.1.

In terms of connectivity, the smartphone has 3G support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, and Micro-USB connectivity. The smartphone packs a 2540mAh removable battery.


Commenting on the launch, Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company said, "The LG Bello II brings unprecedented value to 3G markets, they still represent a significant 40 percent of the smartphone market." He adds: "With its selfie 5 megapixel camera, big screen and familiar features, the LG Bello II is a great balance between form, function and price, and we expect to be even more successful than its predecessor."
