Lava Iris X1 smartphone selfie launched at Rs 6777

Indian phone maker Lava has announced a smartphone-focused entry-level selfie called Lava Iris selfie X1. The phone will be priced at Rs 6777 and will be on sale in all multi-brand outlets as well as through online channels early next week.

Coming in three colors: Black Real, icy white and purple, Lava Iris selfie X1 has a front camera of 5 megapixel with LED flash unit to make click selfies even in low light conditions. At the rear 8-megapixel camera you are obtained with an f / 2.0 aperture, along with an LED flash unit.

Lava Iris selfie X1 comes with a 4.5-inch IPS screen Dragontrail protected by Asahi Glass and has a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The phone is powered by a Mediatek MT6580 SoC having a processor of 1.3 GHz quad-core with 1 GB of RAM. On the front storage, 8 GB of internal storage and the option to add an additional 32GB through microSD card slot is obtained. A 2000 mAh Li-polymer completes the picture.

The smartphone camera also supports gestures. Photos are clickable, making a gesture of "V" for the front camera helps you capture images with the symbol of victory "V". Alternatively, it also supports photo capture methods controlled voice that help click on the images saying "capture" or "cheese." There is a "Tap to capture" feature that allows users to focus and click images with a single touch.
